OPR Memorial Charitable Trust, Chennai (previously called as Reddy Elaingar Peravai Charitable Trust) has been registered in the year 2008 with Mr.V.Selvaraju as Founder & Managing Trustee and along with other 31 Trustees.

Its main motto is “Service to poor is Service to God”
Its objective is selfless service with no money making in any form or kind with selfish motives.
To serve poor and downtrodden people by attending to their basic educational and medical needs for their amelioration.
To attend to their day-to-day public issues.
To create the awareness on the general public issues.
To start coaching classes for TNPSC/UPSC and other Competitive Exams.
To establish vocational/technical/medical/arts and science institutions under the “KRT CAREER ACADEMY” in future.

Measures to attain the Objectives

To attain aforesaid objectives the following Measures are being taken.

to provide hostel facilities for poor students.
to provide scholarships for deserving poor students.
to publish books, pamphlets, Journals etc.
to co-operate with other bodies having similar objectives and do whatever is necessary for obtaining the above objectives.
to strive for social, educational, economic upliftment of the community
to inculcate scientific temper and rational thinking within the community with evolving technological advancement.
to raise funds by donations.
to establish working women’s hostels, old age homes, community halls and counselling centres.
